Hi, Noted your history of sore throat, severe body ache for couple of days, red throat with white patches. This is indicative of an infection of the pharynx called pharyngitis. I would advise you the following in such a situation: Take plenty of oral fluids as it helps in maintaining the hydration and self-cleaning. Use antibiotic oral wash and gargles and follow the instructions on the bottle. Take an anti-inflammatory like Ibuprofen if it suits you. Consult your Doctor. Investigations of throat swab for gram staining, culture and sensitivity. Tests of blood for CBC, kidney function and culture & sensitivity.
