What Causes Soreness And Swelling In Labia?

My right labia is swollen and very painful. It is unbearably painful and stinging when I urinate. I just noticed a small dark spot right outside the labia. I was fingered on the beach a couple nights ago. I am abroad and traveling so finding n OBGYN is very difficult. Please help me understand what this could be and how I could treat this very painful problem. Thanks

Hello,

Painful labia is because of infection of the gland there, and it's called Bartholin cyst. If it's size is small it can be treated with antibiotics easily and if it's too big, you will have to get it drained by marsupialization.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
