Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband is 47. Three days ago his knee became sore and it feels warm as if it has fever. Today it is slightly red and looks to be going down his leg to his ankle. He has not had surgery, or an accident or injury that would cause this. He is able to walk and move, just the above mentioned symptoms. Any suggestions?
It could be arthritis probably septic arthritis. Consult an orthopedic and get evaluated. Antibiotics have to be started at the earliest. An MRI scan also required for further assessment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
