What Causes Soreness In Jaw, Tooth During Pregnancy?

I'm 18 weeks pregnant. My top right section of my teeth has been hurting. There is no one specific tooth, it seems to just be coming from that section. Yesterday my cheek was so sore, it was like I got punched in the face or something. And my jaw seemed to be sore as well. Today my cheek is and jaw are no longer hurting nearly as much, but the teeth in the top right corner still are. I'm hoping that it's not serious where I need something pulled. COuld it just be sensitivity because I'm pregnant? I'm scared because I don't want to have to pull any teeth out.

Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion it might be some dental infection.I suggest you to consult a dentist as you might need some antibiotics. If any procedure is needed 2nd trimester is the best time.Dental infections also lead to preterm labour sometimes.Dont worry it will subside with apt treatment.
Best regards...Dr srilatha
