Thanks for your query, i have gone through your query. the pain or soreness in the joint could be because of the new dentures. it can be because of sudden change from edentulousness to dentures, or any high points or fault in the denture. the soreness over the ridge could be because of the sharp edges of the denture impinging on the ridge. consult a prosthodontist and get yourself examined and correct the problems. i hope my answer will help you. take care.

Hi
Discomfort, soreness, ulcers, inconvenience are natural to anyone who wears the denture for the first time since it is something not a part of your oral cavity naturally. Coming to your problem it looks like you have cheek bite when you close your mouth and pain in the joint may be the articulation relations are not good so only hurting the joint. for the sorenes you can mucopain gel for relief but it is very much suggested to visit the same dentist to get the corrections done only then all these issues will get solved with your denture.Hope this is informative
