What Causes Soreness In Throat After Taking A Shower?

After showering a while ago, I coughed and felt soreness on the right side of my throat. I looked with a small flashlight and discovered a white sac about half inch in diameter nestled in the right side of my throat. I had a UTI followed by a strep infection a couple of weeks ago and was treated with a couple of anti biotics. I called doctors office and they want me to see my primary MD tomorrow, sorry for the inconvience. I will call them tomorrow. Thank you

HI.he white sac rested into your right side of the throat can be an Antro-Choanal Polyp unless proved otherwise.
Get an ENT Examination done to confirm the diagnosis.
You may need a CT scan of the sinuses and throat to confirm the diagnosis and get an appropriate treatment .
As for the UTI , get urine and blood tested for culture and sensitivity to get proper treatment ; if required you may also need an ultrasonography and Intravenous Pyelography to see the primary problem and treated accordingly.
Continue treatment - Medical and / or surgical till you get a cure.
