Hi,
Polyps can arise from the endometrial tissue or the cervical tissue. They manifest excess growth of the mucosal lining into the form of a warty protrusion, sometimes large enough to create problems like bleeding and obstruction. The origin is based on hormone imbalance and infections most often. Your present symptoms could be due to post surgical trauma owing to instrumentation during the procedure and/or associated infection. Proper maintenance of genital hygiene and abstinence until complete wound healing are essential in such circumstances. Hope this helps.
