What Causes Soreness On Vagina?
Hi, Im have a sore on my vaginal region. I believe its related to hv2, after taking a STD test my doc told me the i have a slight trace of hv2, so im guessing the sore is related to that. Can i use neosporin on my vaginal area and waht other antival treatment can i use to prevent anmore outbreaks?

Sore vagina may be due to many number of causes right from,
Yeast infection, sexual trauma, non STD skin conditions, STD conditions etc.
Among the STD conditions, HSV 2 is the commonest problem.
A careful examination of the genitals and few investigations done on vaginal secretion and blood would reveal the exact diagnosis. Sometimes examination of your sex partner and treatment for him also may be needed.
So better consult your Gynecologist and get well soon.
