Welcome in HCM.

I understand your concern and I would like to tell you the common causes of soreness and painful pathology of tongue like papilitis. These are-

1- Dyspepsia.

2- Vitamin B-complex and Vitamin -C deficiency.

3- Gingivitis and poor oral hygiene.

So I would like to suggest you to please consult your ENT / Dentist for thorough examination and treatment. Till you are in waiting for specialist you may take-

1- Antacid with PPI.

2- Multivitamin orally.

3- Adequate fluid orally.
