What Causes Sores In The Fold Of Skin Around Vagina And Anus?

Hi, I was taking a peniciilin antibiotic for a few days for a cut I got from an accident. I developed a very bad yeast infection and have been quite itchy. I just noticed today that I have tiny paper cut like sores about a few mm in length in the fold of the skin around my vagina and anus. The cuts are not filled with anything and do not have scabs and are not circular or raised, they are just like tiny paper cuts, nothing is exuding from them. I am wondering if I have a possible std, or if this could be caused from the yeast infection? I have not had intercourse since August 15th and 16th of 2014.

hi healthcare magic user, from your description it looks like that it is local irritation due to fungal infection. you should keep local area Clean and dry. Use cotton undergarments.
If I would have been your doctor I would have advised for local examination candid cream or terconazol cream for local application. if the symptoms are not received I would have ask you to take antifungal tablets. treated both husband and wife.
