General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

You have not mentioned your age. Usually, in the young age group, people common cause for blood in the urine include urinary tract infection or some stone in the urinary tract.

I suggest you investigate with urine routine microscopic and ultrasonography of abdomen and pelvis for primary workup.

If it is the urinary tract infection than will be clear by urine routine microscopic examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
