What Causes Sporadic Spreading Tingling Sensations In Hands And Arms?
About a week or two ago, my right hand began experiencing random sparadic tingling, fuzzy sensations. Since that time it has gradually spread from just my right hand to both hands and both arms. It is not painful! It just feels weird. I experienced a TBI in mid- august. What could be the problem, why is this just now happening randomly, and what would you recommend I do?
Hello As per the description of your present clinical symptoms, it seems that you may have the following probable medical conditions:
1. A TB of the spine ( cervical spine) as a relapse of the previous disease, which causes bone disruption and that in turn may cause tingling sensation of the upper limb by compression of the spinal nerve roots. A Skiagram (X-RAY) or CT-scan of the cervical and dorsal spine should be done to rule out the condition.
2. Another probability is, it can be a case of cervical spondylosis or PIVD causing nerve root compression. A Skiagram (X-RAY) or MRI of the cervical or dorsal spine should be done to rule out the condition.
I would suggest you to do a A Skiagram (X-RAY) of the cervical and dorsal spine and visit a Orthopedician( preferably a spine surgeon) or a Neurologist for further evaluation and management.
