Me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex on a saturday (second time). He pulled out, but the sperm was near my vagina so I m worried. I wore a pad afterwards just in case of any blood. There was a little so I wore one the next day (a sunday) and there s was a little blood. Then on monday, when I sat down for a while and stand up really quick, I felt something coming out (like blood as if on a period). However, I have been told that it was possible to still have your period even when you could be or already pregnant. I just want to know if I could be? PLEASE ANSWER BACK ASAP
Hi there, After going through your question, I am of the opinion that: 1)The bleeding could be either due to an injury or cervical infection. 2) Unprotected sex can lead to pregnancy, but chances are less if you pull out and semen is discharged outside. 3) It also depends on which part of menstrual cycle the sex occured. Chances are highest if sex happened during ovulation time ie between day 12 to 18 of periods. 4) Yes, you can have periods in pregnancy, but that is also very rare. 5) My suggestion is that you wait for 21 days after last sexual intercourse and do a urine pregnancy test to be sure. 6) However, I dont think you need to worry too much about pregnancy as chances are very very low.
I hope this was helpful. Regards, Dr. Shikha
