What Causes Spotting And Abdominal Cramps During Post Menopausal Phase?
I am a 59 year old female. Postmenapausal, last period in fall of 2007. Last night I started spotting and it continues today plus I have nausea and abdominal cramps. I just changed Doctors and have not yet had my new patient appointment so they are not taking me. Is this something I should be concerned about? My appointment isn't until March
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Based on your description, it appears that you could be having some disease related to cervix or uterus. Hence, you need to be investigated for what could be the cause by undertaking ultrasound scan of the abdomen. Also, you need to be clinically evaluated by per speculum examination on consulting Gynecologist. After confirming the underlying cause, appropriate treatment can be executed. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
