March I have a friend that had unprotected sex while going off of period. Now her period is due in 5 days and she had brown spotting for about an hour then it turn into white discharge. She is experiencing slight headache, light cramps off and on with sore breasts

First don't panic. She has not yet a menstrual delay to worry.
Second, the signs you mentioned are common during pregnancy but they happen even in situation outside of pregnancy.
Many women experience headache, abdominal cramps and sore breasts before menstruation due to progesteron levels.
So, wait for the menstruation...at least there is nothing to do in advance.
