What Causes Spotting In 9 Week Pregnancy?

Hi i am 9 week pregnant. At 7 week there was no fetal pole visible. I am scheduled for another scan this week. I also found very small tissue discharge yesterday blood like. Today I have blood spots. I had sex last night with my husband. My sis said the spotting is because of sex. Pls advice

hi what condition you are having is called threatened abortion where the risk of miscarriage is increased. it can be precipitated by coitus. so no coitus,lifting weight and take rest. start tab susten 200 mg twice daily and inj hcg 5000 units weekly till 12 weeks . all will be good take care.
