What Causes Spotting While On Boric Acid?

Hello I am taking boric acid for candida glabaratta I have used them 2 months ago but the infection did not go GO AWAY so my doctor recommended me these again for 14 days i only had 3 I noticed that i had light pink bleeding this happened last time after 11th capsule so can someone tell me what is happening i am really worried because i had infection from long time and doctor was always thinking that it could be uti but no it was actually vaginal infection. Thankyou

Spotting can be due to the infection of the vagina, cervix or the lower urinary tract. The medication itself can cause spotting. A local exam is necessary to clarify. Also, to cure vaginitis, proper treatment is necessary along with prophylaxis for at least 6 months. If you are sexually active, partner examination and treatment is necessary.
