I was superscribed Primolut N to take 2 days before my period is due to delay it as i am going on holiday, today is 3 days before i leave and my period was only expected in two days, i have some spotting but i decided to take the first pill this morning, will this still be able to stop the period?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
In my opinion, If you want to to delay your periods, you should take Primolut N at least 7 days prior to your expected date. It is very unlikely that your periods will be delayed as only 2 days are left and spotting is already there.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Suraj Khandhedia
