Hi,

Some amount of fluctuation in the date or amount of flow can be seen in menstrual cycles usually.

The menstrual period between 21 to 35 days can be considered as normal. Sometimes due to hormonal fluctuation premenstrually, spotting and changes in dietary habits can be seen before the onset of the regular periods.

As sometimes these symptoms can be seen in early pregnancy also, if there is any suspicion of pregnancy, please go for a urine pregnancy test once.

If the test gives a negative result, you can wait for a few days and possibly you may get periods soon.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Sree Gouri SR
