What Causes Sputum Collecting In Throat And Coughing After Eating?
I have a problem with sputum collecting in throat. When I eat, often some grainy particles stick in it, and causes coughing until it is expelled. There is no other symptom or uneasiness .
What can be the reason and what should I do about it?

YOui have not mentioned your age.
There could be laryngopharyngeal reflux ie reflux of acidic contents from stomach to food pipe and then throat.
The acidic contents cause burning and dryness in the throat.
Or if you are a diabetic then this could be one of the cause .As diabetes causes dryness in the throat.
You should take care of the reflux disease by taking antireflux medicines.
If there is no difficulty in swallowing then do not worry.
In doubt do reply.
