Hi,Welcome to HCM.
Based on the facts of your query,as the lump on left calf with slight indentation at the spot ,which is painless which appears only on standing and with similar lump on the opposite leg,it seems to be caused from
Varicose veins due to short saphenous incompetent vein valves.
Through out the life as an athlete you did not get this, but with aging and addition of increased intra-abdominal pressure, these Long and short saphenous veins have become incompetent lately, which needs to be investigated and investigated after Venous Doppler study and treated from a Vascular Surgeon.
So don't worry it.Consult your Vascular Surgeon, after consulting your Surgeon and GP doctor, who would treat this lump with all the care it needs.
This reply would resolve your current issues and would reduce your
anxiety with it.
Hope this reply would help you to plan treatment with your doctor.
Will appreciate your Hitting thanks and writing excellent review comments to help needy patients like you.
Welcome with any other further query in this regard.
Good Day!!
