I currently feel a stabbing pain in my left chest/shoulder area and it's coming in waves. I don't feel like it's a heart attack. It feels more like i'm being physically cut on the inside. It hurts very much and I don't know what I should do. Also, my hand feels weird, but that might be because I was recently resting it weirdly and contorting myself due to said pains. I'm unsure of any other symptoms but my hand feels tingly, a bit painful like a dull throbbing, and mildly numb. Like I stated before i might've just done something weird to it, but my shoulder/chest hurts a lot. It feels more in the muscle or bone than a joint or anything.
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic. I can understand your concern. Cardiac diseases are common cause for left sided chest and shoulder discomfort. So better to first rule out heart diseases. So get done ecg and 2d echo. If both are normal than no need to worry for heart diseases. Your symptoms are more suggestive of musculoskeletal pain. So avoid heavyweight lifting and strenuous exercise. Avoid movements causing pain. Avoid bad postures in sleep. Apply warm water pad on affected areas. Start painkiller and muscle relaxant drugs. Don't worry, you will be alright in 1-2 weeks. Hope I have solved your query. Wish you good health. Thanks.
