Hallow,

I have gone through your query carefully.

I would have liked to know about the colour of the vaginal discharge. Is it greenish with froth?

You seem to have trichomonal vaginitis. It can be treated with Metronidazole.

However, to have complete recovery and avoid reinfection, please follow:
1. The treatment and the instructions have to be followed by both the sexual partners simultaneously irrespective of any symptoms to the partner.
2. Clean shave the private parts. Discharge painted up in the hair roots reinfects.
3. Use Panty liners
4. Boil the underclothes for 20 minutes daily to disinfect the discharge.
5. Cut the nails short. The organisms stuck up in the nails due to scratchingmay reinfect.

Please report to your Gynaecologist and start the treatment at the earliest.

I hope I have guided you properly.
