hi i recently (friday) had a jab for yellow fever and since saturday have been suffering with really itchy eyes and they keep filling with a thick jelly like sustance that i assume is a natural protection or defence that the eye produces but is this a side effect of the jab or somthing independant, i am 40 years old
Hello It seems from the history that you are having sticky discharge and itching in the eyes following yellow fever. These symptoms indicate infection of the eyes in the form of acute conjunctivitis. The treatment is by use of antibiotic eye drops and anti-inflammatory drugs. Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
Thank you
