The creases in my skin are sticky. When air can get to my skin, then the stickiness goes away quickly. I only experience the stickiness in folds of skin that don t get exposed to air. I may have pre-diabetes as my glucose level just tested high.. Is this related?
Hi. As per your case history of stickiness of skin, my treatment advice is - 1. It is related to diabetes. There is excessive perspiration on trunk and folds with dryness of skin on extremities in diabetes patients. 2. Apply an antifungal cream like clotrimazole cream twice daily on all folds which feel sticky. 3. Spray a terbinafine dusting powder like Tyza powder over it after applying cream. 4. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine for itching.
