What Causes Stiffness While Urinating And Not Able To Empty The Bladder?
for the past several months I have been having what I call *episodes* for a better name. It usually happened during the middle of the night where I ended up at a 45 degree angle from where I started with my legs hanging off the bed. I was stiff & don't have a clue what is happening & emptied my bladder. after coming out of it my ears would ring so loud & then sound like millions of cricket like sounds. It has progressively gotten worse. I had 3 yesterday & 2 already today. could these be seizures of some sort? I have never been diagnosed with anything other than hypertension but am not on medication as it is mild.

These symptoms are suggestive of uroinfection and this is common in your age and usually is manifested with pain during urination, fever and changes in urination frequency. Also, blood traces may be present in urine which can have odour or colour change. Other common cause are urinary stones. Diagnosis is established by doing urine analysis and urinoculture and after this antibiotic treatment may be started if necessary. If there is negative urine analysis then you should do ultrasound of kidneys to check for stones. You should drink plenty of fluids and take raspberry tea or juice to promote urination.
