Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
The symptoms you describe sounds like acute urine retention. It may be caused by the intensive nebulizer use which prevents contraction of the urinary bladder. Often, this is accompanied by difficulty in voiding the bowels, which ultimately leads to constipation, abdominal distention, and stomach ache. It is relevant to scan his bladder and possibly catheterize his bladder to relieve symptoms here and now.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
