What Causes Stomach Cramps And Tender Breasts While On Birth Control Pills?
I am 50 yo. On Cyclafem for birth control. Never have periods or any symptoms. Inactive pills June 27 to July3. Started new pack on July 4. Had sex on July 12th. Forgot to take bc on the 13 and 14. Incredibiy stressed about being 50 and pregnant. Took home pregnancy tests on July26, 31, Aug 3, and 2 on the 5th (one at doctors)--all negative. Feeling cramping and mild breast tenderness so still thinking I took possibly took too early. Had serum Hcg test on the 7th (negative) but still feeling lower abdominal pressure at times. I m driving myself crazy. Is it stess, crazy hormones, menopause? First letter of e-mail is small l not L
Hello, I have gone through your query and understood the concern. In the current scenario, though your cycle was no longer protected, I think your chances of conception are very low considering your age. To clarify, you can get a trans-vaginal sonogram to know the status of the pelvic organs. Please do not worry. Such instances are common around menopause. Hope this helps.
