Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I feel tired and slightly heavy. Yesterday night i had lots of stomach cramps and was very tired, and so i have been sleeping quite a bit. The last time I ate was lunch yesterday and even though i want to eat, i'm worried it will give me more cramps. What is this?
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history and understood the concerns. Your history mentions only about cramps and tiredness and nothing else like nausea, vomiting, bloating and so on. With the short history the probable causes I can think about area as follows: Intestinal colic due to infection or intolerance to some foods. Ureteric colic. I would advise you the following in such a situation: Consult a Doctor for clinical evaluation, examination and get relevant investigations as follows: X-ray of the abdomen for KUB and in standing position. Ultrasonography of abdomen. Tests of blood, stool and urine. All these will give a probable diagnosis and a plan of management. You need to take a symptomatic treatment with antispasmodic.
