What Causes Stomach Cramps?

Hello. About thirty minutes after eating dinner last night, I had moderate stomach cramps. I went to bed and woke up feeling fine. I ate breakfast the following morning and began having stomach cramps again. I have tenderness around the lower left side of my stomach (to your right) when I push into my stomach.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of abdominal cramps thirty minutes after dinner and the next day after breakfast. There is tenderness on the lower left side of the abdomen also.
The most probable reasons is colitis, the inflamed colon that responds to the food in the stomach as a reflex mechanism that the body has.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Get a clinical evaluation done.
Take a course of medicines for the colitis part.
Tests of stool and blood and urine.
High resolution ultrasonography .
If no relief, further tests are of colonoscopy and CT scan of the abdomen and further treatment as per the reports.
I find this answer helpful
