What Causes Stomach Pain And Bloating Post Intercourse?

Hey I am very worried and this has happened to me several times. I have been on birth control for about a year now and my boyfriend always uses condoms. But sometimes like 6 hours after we have had sex I will get bad cramps and feel bloated and then I will have spoting for about 2 days. Then I feel fine again. Is this normal?

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Bloating, cramps and spotting are not common after intercourse. These can occur due to pelvic inflammatory disease or any local lesions in cervix or vagina including cervical cancer.
I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated including pap smear and vaginal swab examination and get further management accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
