Last evening started feeling ill... very bloated- then stomach ain, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.... lasted about 4-6 hours... Very tired today stomach hurts from vomiting. Slowly starting to feel better. Not sure if food poisioning or virus.... husband did not get sick... but tonight is complaining of queasy stomach.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you are having symptoms of stomach pain, diarrhea and vomiting. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like gastroenteritis , food poisoning , irritable bowel syndrome , lactose intolerance , giardiasis or intestinal Ileus. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination. Doctor may order stool test , ultrasound , endoscopy along with that take history. Doctor may prescribe laxative , ornidazole or albendazole along with ranitidine. You should not lay down immediately after having food and go for light exercises. For now eat light and non spicy , avoid food like seafood and nuts. You should take antacid after every meal and keep your head elevated while lying down.
