What Causes Stomach Pain, Diarrhea And Weight Loss?
Hi im 53yrs old I suffer from drepression and under a doctor care, my question is I have been eaten very little for the past 2 months my belly is hurting me im starting to shake and dierrhea all the time I have lost 28 lbs in the 2 months should I see a Doctor? Are my systems from not eating well?
Hello, At your age one should attribute all problems especially the loss of weight to depression. You should see a doctor preferably a gastroenterologist. The pain in the belly requires to be investigated by upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopies. Your doctor may suggest additional tests like blood tests and ultrasound examination. Once the cause of your problem is known it can be treated properly. I do not want to suggest any medication now as relief from it may delay your visiting a doctor. I am available to answer any further query you may have. Dr. Noble Zachariah, Kuwait
