What Causes Stomach Pain Followed By Seizure, Vomiting And Diarrhea?
On Sunday, I experienced intense pain in my stomach and then a seizure that lasted about 3 minutes (eyes open but unresponsive) followed by vomiting and diarrhea. Since then I have had two periods of feeling weak all over. My blood pressure is high - 159/70.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
If you suffered an epileptic attack or convulsive episode of some type then, the abdominal pain followed by vomiting, diarrhea, and hypertensive reading are probably all AUTONOMIC responses as a consequence of the electrical aberrations occurring in the brain. What you need to do is see a NEUROLOGIST immediately who can assess what happened and determine if you should really be on medication for the seizure otherwise, this may happen again..and it wouldn't be unusual for it to be sooner rather than later.
