What Causes Stomach Pain Post Albendozole Intake?
Doctor advised to take Albendozole tablet daily for 7 days for curing the pinworm infestation around the anus area every alternate two months. But I feel stomach pain and constipation after taking 1 tablet yesterday. Whether I may continue the tablet for 7 days. what is the cause for pinworm infestation every two months. what antibiotic tablet .may be taken to kill the worms permanently

Stomach pain after albendazole is due to possible gastritis occurrence with the medication, addition of antacid or proton pump inhibitor will solve the issue. The need for weekly medication has to be discussed with the treating physician in details.
