What Causes Stomach Pain, Vomiting And Loose Motion To A 8 Year Old?
My 8 year old daughter complained of stomach pain after dinner and started vomiting. She even passed loose stools. Last week she had a Widal test done as she had fever which showed that she had mild typhoid. We had given her Cefixime for a week. She is otherwise quite healthy.

Did the child eat any outside eatable? You need to maintain fluid balance by giving ORS and keep watch on the frequency of loose motion and vomiting. If it is decreasing and the child is active you need not worry.Also from single widal test it is difficult to diagnose active disease.
