What Causes Stomach Pain When I Cough?
Hi my name is grace. The past 4 days I've had pain on the lower left side of my stomach and it is very painful when I cough. It has increased now and is painful all the time now and I have cottage cheese thrush which has been going on for 4 weeks .. After 2 courses of antibiotics. I've now taken a tablet to treat the thrush but still have the abdominal pain. I went to the doctor he says it might be a cyst as my left ovary is very painful to touch. Can you give me some info if this is possible and what the treatment would be.

There can be many reasons for the pain with cough , in short any mass or ulcer causing a swelling in the abdomen will have pain while coughing , the possibilities include an infection , cyst or a mass in any of the structures in the abdomen like stomach , ovary , kidneys etc. I would like you to meet your surgery doctor , who will examine you and guide you further. please dont delay.
