What Causes Stomach Pain With Nausea And Vomiting?

y dad s been sick for about 24 hours now. It seems to be either a bad stomach virus or kidney stones. Lots of vomiting, no headache, some lower back, pelvis, and stomach pain. Hasn t been able to sue the bathroom so not sure about blood in urine or stool. Has a history of kidney stones in the family, and the areas in pain seem to follow in accordance with that, but the amount of vomiting seems strange. He says the nausea comes and goes. He s hydrated. I make sure he keeps drinking water, but as soon as he drinks it he gets nauseous and starts to vomit. Hasn t eaten in 24 hours now and didn t sleep more than few hours last night.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of stomach pain with nausea and vomiting which seems to be due to food poisoning and acute gastroenteritis. It could be due t disturbed metabolism of body. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take acetaminophen and antiemetic medication. Avoid intake of any outside food. You should take proper rest. You should take plenty of fluids to re-hydrate. Take diet rich in multivitamins and avoid any oily sharp and fast food. Visit general physician once and get it examined. You should get blood tests done to find out underlying cause of condition and start treatment accordingly. Your symptoms will resolve in 3-5 days.
