My mother is vomiting every hour. I has persisted all night. now it is just yellow-clear stomach bile. also has the chills. No fever or diarrhea. lots of pain in the upper stocmach area.
Should I go the the emergency room? or just wait two hours until the walk-in clinics open?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Certain common medical conditions are there which could cause vomiting, dyspepsia, hyperacidity, viral infection. In persistence vomiting injectable drug can only be given to stop the dehydration and vicious cycle else condition may demand investigation to rule out the systemic diseases, metabolic disorders, endocrine dysfunction and others.
I would advise to get her in hospital for best management. Hope this information helps! Regards, Dr. Akhtarhusain
