What Causes Stomach Pain?

hi iam 58 had a stroke when I was 49 complete blockage on right side 100 percent everyday I feek sick to my stomach I have belly ache I have to go to bathroom after being up for about 20 min but by the afternoon it feels like iam full but I don t have another bowl movement

This stomach paim with altered bowel movements could be Irritable Bowel syndrome or acute gastritis.

It's management relies on diet and lifestyle modifications along with certain medications.

1) Diet and Lifestyle Modifications like avoiding Pulses and Beans, food with high amounts of refined sugars will help.

2) Good stress managment, Yoga and Acupuncture have all been used to help manage the symptoms of IBS with good results.

Medications in IBS like Loperamide (Brand Name: immodium) has been used in the management of IBS with diarrhea.

Antispasmodics like Mebeverine (Brand Name: COLOSPA) has also been used to regulate the bowel in IBS.

You will require complete blood,h.pylori and stool tests,ultrasound abdomen with upper GI endoscopy.

Rest of stroke treatment, you can continue meanwhile.

Consult gastroenterologist for further advice.
