My son ( 40 years old ) never sick.....is having fever....it breaks but comes back.....what ever he drinks....goes straight through him...stomach hurts......very weak....took Imodium. Your son undergo routine blood count,electrolytes with clinical examination of abdomen or ultrasound of abdomen.
He will require antibiotics (quinolones or cephalosporins or antiprotozoals etc.) with antiemetic, antispasmodics and antiinflammatories with prebiotics and probiotics.
There might be a need of fluid and electrolyte balance in body.
He should consult physician in urgent care treatment.
