What Causes Stomach Sickness While On Medication For Cold?

Hi, I'm a 15 year old girl and i just got a cold on monday. I took medicine, but i think i may have taken too much. And i havent been pooping, but i have really bad gas. When i tried to go today (4/26/11) all that came out was bloody body tissue i think. I'm also feeling sick to my stomach. Do you think it's because of the medicine? And i'm also late on my period....about a week. is that normal?
