What Causes Stomach Upset And Sleepiness While On Gabapentin?
I am currently takeing 100mg of gabapentin and having bad upset stomachs . very sleepy and not sure if this is a normal response for this med.ive only been takeing this med for 5 days. trying to help me with arthritis and pain. can u give me any suggestions for the upset stomach ...thruout the day 3 times a day 100mgs I m takeing. inorder to work up to 600 mgs a day.

Dear Gabapentine may cause dizziness,drowsiness,unsteadiness,memory loss,
lack of coordination,difficulty speaking,viral infections,tremors,double vision,fever,unusual eye movements, and jerky movements.
If you deveoped gastritis you can take pantaprazole before breakfast along with it.
If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you with alternate drug like pregabalin.
