What Causes Stop In Heart Beat With Dizziness And Tightness In Chest?
I am 20 year old girl and I just experienced my heart stop beating for 7 seconds and I felt light headed fuzzy and dizz I stood up walking around and pacing to get my heart started again I got into my room and I sat down on my chair and my heart started beating really fast and then all of a sudden just stopped again for longer I got scared and ran to my boyfriend lightheaded about to faint to call 911 but he just thought I needed food because I have not ate. I ate really well last night and my sugar level was 119. I have been ok since I had water with sugar and some lasagna. But now my chest is severely tight and I feel like at any moment it can happen again soon, what is wrong?
Hi welcome to HCM. You might have had an panic attack. This is usually associated with low blood pressure and feeling of pounding heart.Drugs like alprazolam will help to reduce your symptoms.Avoid strenuous activity post food intake.Consume 3-4 litres of water.Have a baseline EKG if such attack recurs.Consult your doctor for further care. Thank you
