Hello,
Since you do not have periods since 3 years, you are in perimenopausal / menopausal phase. In this phase of a woman's life,
pinkish spotting or bleeding is commonly indicative of
vaginal dryness, polyps (non-cancerous growths) or atrophic changes in your reproductive system. Lower estrogen levels may cause spotting that may be slightly differently colored from light (pinkish-gray) to brown or even resemble a regular period.
It occurs due to
atrophic vaginitis, endometrial atrophy, or from polyps(cervical or uterine). In about 10% of women, bleeding after menopause is a sign of uterine cancer. Get clinically examined by a gynecologist or
urologist. Get a urinalysis (C/S and R/E), CBC, perivaginal examination, Hb%,
ultrasonography of the uterus to do a detailed study so that treatment if required can be started at the earliest.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
