Hi, I have pcos and also diagnosed with diabetes. Doc have prescribed me duphaston frm 15th day fr 10 days. Plus I take 500mg of glucophage. I m given glucophage fr pcos treatment nt fr diabeties as I controll it wd diet. For last 6 month I got my periods on the 5th day of stopping duphaston bt ths month its 11th day n no periods m nt pregnant. Wht might be causing this. Worried.
PCOS is a condition that can cause irregular periods, and a hormonal fluctuation that can again influence these levels. So the irregular cycle is most probably due to a hormonal imbalance, and nothing else. Speak to your doctor to help with management, or just be patient as the duphanston should help to cause a withdrawal bleed.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.
