What Causes Stoppage In Periods?

I started birthcontrol 21 pills on the 7th September so from 28th September-04th October would be my pill free days however I had sex on the 1st October and took Postinor 2, 9 hours after having sex and the second pill in exact 12 hours. My periods was suppose to come on the 2nd October but it didnt, i am currently spotting. My questions are when would i have my periods? Is spotting normal? Should i be taking postinor 2 even though i took my birthcontrol pills correctly? Should I start my new pack of birthcontrol on Sunday?

Hello,

You don't need to use emergency pill while on estroprogestative pills taken correctly. You are protected even in off pill days.

You can use a new package after the 28th day of the cycle even if the period doesn't come. The spotting is favoured by using the emergency pill. It may lead to a period.
