What Causes Strange Liquid Discharge From Fractured Coccyx?
Hi. I recently fell and found out that I had fractured my coccyx. I have been doing exactly as I d been told, no pressure on it, icing it, prescribed painkillers. But now it s releasing a strange ooze-y liquid and I m not quite sure what it is. It looks like blood, meaning it comes out red and dries brown, but it smells very foul and is sticky and thick. I am sure that it is coming out of my injured coccyx; what exactly is happening?

It could be an infected abscess and it's better to get it assessed by a general surgeon in addition to an orthopedic surgeon ASAP.
