What Causes Strange Sensations In The Limbs And Headaches After Taking Thyroxine?
I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid. was put on 50 mg then after 3 weeks increased it to 75 mg and I went crazy- all the symptoms of being hpyerthryd- my brests also got very hot and saw and grew very quickly. Now I am totally off the thyroxine since even dropping back to 50 mg scared me a little with a racing heart. I think I have adrenal problems since a few months ago I was so stressed and was unable to control the adrenaline my body was producing making me feel very dreamy and headachey. Now mentally I am not stressed but I get strange sensations in my legs arms and hads, headaches in morning, fatique and hyperactivity along with impaired cognition. What do you think is going on?
Impaired cognition and fatigue are symptoms of hypothyroidism. I recommend getting your thyroid function tests (Free T4 and TSH) done and treatment can be given accordingly.
