What Causes Stuffy Nose And Pain In The Jaws?

I have a sensation that my nose is going to burst, like it needs to pop in the right nostril, it feels stuffy and the right side of my jaw aches and my lower right teeth (as if I ve been clenching them) I have a headache on the right side too, lower down around the forehead area, I experience ringing in the ears and my ears pop on occasion too. Is it something sinus related please?

Hello,
You are describing the symptoms of an active infection. You most likely have a sinus related infection or a oral infection such as an abscess from a tooth. Realize infections will spread and the discomfort from the inflammation will cause discomfort. You may be grinding your teeth especially at night as a reaction to the infection. Schedule a visit with your dentist for x-rays and further diagnosis. Plan a visit to your doctor or ear, nose, and throat specialist for sinus evaluation.
Anti-inflammatory medications such as Tylenol and Motrin may help reduce discomfort. You most likely will require an antibiotic to reduce your symptoms and stop the spread of the infection. Depending on the source of the infection, a sinus or respiratory infection only require antibiotic treatment as prescribed for required period or additional treatment such as a root canal if the source is an abscessed tooth. Viral infections often just take time to leave your system and you can only reduce your symptoms with antiinflammitory and pain relief medications.
Stay well hydrated. Drink plenty of liquids and water. Symptoms of dehydration can cause a great deal of discomfort. Maintain a proper diet with balanced vitamins. Taking Plenty of vitamin B12 is recommended. Driving machine seek professional care if any of your symptoms become severe or worsen quickly.
Thank you for your inquiry. I hope you feel better soon.
